Lucidity Letter (Senior editor; 1981-1990) - This was a semiannual journal (it is now an annual called Lucidity) published by the Lucidity Association for professionals and sophisticated dreamers interested in lucid dreams, conscious awareness of dreaming while remaining asleep and dreaming, and related states of consciousness. This publication grew from a quarterly two page newsletter to a semiannual bound journal averaging 150 pages per issue during my editorship. In addition to founding, publishing, and editing all issues for its first 10 years, I have also coordinated the publication of the proceedings of the lucid dreaming conferences in this journal (June 1986, December 1987, December 1988, December 1989, and December 1990). Circulation averaged 200 to 400 subscribers per issue.
ASD Newsletter (Senior editor; 1984-1988) - This newsletter was issued six times a year (currently quarterly) by the Association for the Study of Dreams. It was designed for the members of ASD and included abstracts of papers and invited addresses given at the associations annual meeting as well as book reviews and interviews with leading figures in dream work. It was an interdisciplinary vehicle with articles from artists to physiologists to clinicians interested in the use and meaning of the dream. I founded it as a quarterly and edited its first five years of publication.
